From this tab it is possible to control what resources will be available in the pick list of possible resource shown when manually changing an operation from one resource to another.

Enable or disable sorting rules. A sorting rule will color resources red (and move them to the bottom of the pick list) if in the current situation it is not advisable to move to these resources.
Important note: in a plan with many alternative resources and/or many operations, the sorting rules can be very time consuming to run. If you experience long delays when trying to change an operation to another resource turn off sorting rules.
Rule showing what resources the selected operation(s) can be moved to without double booking, if current operation start time is preserved.
Rule showing what resources the selected operation(s) can be moved to without double booking, if it is allowed to move current operation start time within specified hours or operation offsets (can be specified in “Rule settings” area when the rule is selected).
Rule showing what resources the selected operation(s) can be moved to without double booking, if it is allowed to move current operation start time within the constraints set by previous and following operation in its routing.

This filtering mode will only include resources being shown in the current resource view as a possible resource to move to. With this mode turned on you can greatly reduce the number of alternative resources to show.
