From Proficy Scheduler 4.2 build 267 and newer it is possible to override the normal scheduling rules by using the API Scripting option. Doing this requires knowledge about both scripting and the Proficy Scheduler API, so it should be done by experienced Proficy Scheduler consultants. To see an example of a script see in \data\scripts\scheduling\ovenScheduling. This script demonstrates both how to create a macro from a script loaded during startup and it also shows how to override the standard scheduling rules in order to support scheduling of oven type resources.
