Editing and managing orders

The Order list window has several toolbar buttons to manage the life-cycle of a production order

Delete

Permanently deletes one or more selected orders.

!Note deleting a production order is a permanent action which cannot be undone.

• It is possible to delete orders having a status as “New”, “Cancelled” or “Finished”.
• It is supported to delete more orders in one action by selecting multiple orders rows and then clicking the “Delete” button

It is also supported to delete Orders and Operations directly in the Gantt chart:

• Select the operations to be deleted or an operation which belongs to the order that is to be deleted.
• Press the delete button on the keyboard and choose if the entire order(s) or only the selected operations should be deleted.

New

To create a new Production Order click the New button and the window Edit order opens.

Edit

To edit an existing Production Order click the Edit button and the window Edit order opens.

*A production order with status New is not visible in the Gantt chart. To make it visible change the status of the production order to Forecast or Planned

*When editing the route of a production order, you are editing a copy of the original master route. So any change made will affect the specific production order only, not the master route and not routes belonging to other production orders. When editing a production order route, a padlock symbol is displayed on top of the route icon.

Duplicate

Create an exact copy of the selected production orders. The new production order will be created as a distinct new production order.

Group

Execute similar functions on groups of operations. I.e. assign operations across different production orders the same resource, the same start time, and more. Read more here.

Replan order

Replan the selected orders. A dialog will open where the scheduling strategy is selected.
