Master material editing

Manage everything related to materials and gain the easy overview of how the different material transactions affects your inventory/stock.

Quick start

• Create new materials by clicking on the + button
• To view or edit an existing material, including material transactions, click on the link displaying the material name
  • To change the name or any other attribute of the material either do it directly in the table or use the different right side panels (e.g. Material settings) to view and edit material attributes.
  • The bottom half of the screen displays material transactions related to the selected material. See description below.
  • Note transactions can be shown across multiple selected materials

Material transactions

This panel shows the different material transactions affecting the inventory of one or more selected materials.

View how your inventory evolves over time by making sure the Resulting inventory column is part of the table and sort the table by Start date.

Easily understand what production orders and operations are either producing or consuming to or from the viewed materials by making sure to show the Name (Operation name) and Order no. columns.

Helping features of the material transaction table

• Create a Counting/Purchase/Shipment using the top-left drop down
• Filter on the types of transactions to show using the top-right filters
  
• Use the full text search to quickly search and filter on anything shown in the material transaction table
