Projects

From ROB-EX Web Planner v7.4.2 project data is viewable in a Project Gantt chart providing the overview of how one or more projects are scheduled.

To open the Project Gantt chart either select an operation in the Resource Gantt chart or the Project list – then from the toolbar click the Toggle project view button . Note that context about currently selected operations are remembered when switching between the two type of gantt charts.

The swimlanes of the project gantt chart is, depending on what is expanded in the left side tree-table, a project, a production order or an operation.

Full replanning functionality including bottleneck scheduling and manual drag and drop is supported.

To view multiple projects at the same time, simply select multiple operations or projects before clicking the Toggle project view button. Then all involved projects will all become part of the project view that opens up. This way an entire project portfolio may be viewed and scheduled all at the same time.

Project list

The toolbar contains the button to open the project list
Click on the button and the project list will slide in on the right-hand side of the screen. The picture below shows the project list with all the projects for the plan.

Click the arrow and the project view will slide in.

Create project
Click the plus icon and create new project view shows up. For more information about Create project

Selected projects

Search field
Search field, write the order number you want to search for and only the specific order will show up in the table.

Select project
Checkbox for selecting the projects

Delete project
Delete a selected project from the project list.

Field chooser
Click the gears button to open the field chooser for orders, to change the columns showing in the order list table. For more information see the section Field chooser
