This section provides an overview of Web Planner. The main view of the Gantt chart is shown below.

The home menu provides quick access to different area of Web Planner and related components. Note for some links you might be asked to provide your login credentials.
- Master data : Will open the Master data editing window for managing master data like resources, shift calendar, resource views and materials.
- Operator: Will open Operator in a new browser tab
- Portal: Will lead you to the portal site with an overview of all the sites that you have access to.
- Admin pages: Will lead you to the admin pages, see more about the here.

Click on the dropdown to choose which color the Gantt operations should show. See more about the coloring in the section View menu under the Coloring. On the left side of the dropdown, the two operations colors that are often used in your plan are shown.

Gantt chart highlighting allowing users to put focus on interesting orders in the Gantt chart. Options are available to
- Gantt chart selection: highlight selected orders/operations from the Gantt chart
- Order list selection: highlight orders being selected in the Order list. The suggested way to use this feature, is to select one or more orders in the Order list – then click the Highlight on chart option from the Order list toolbar.
Use the level slider at the bottom of the highlight drop-down to select the percentage non-highlightet orders should be faded with. At 100% only hightlighted orders are visible in the Gantt chart.


Start typing the order number and a dropdown with matching orders will show up under the search field. In the dropdown on the right side of the borderline there’s an eye icon, click on that to show the order in the Gantt chart. The next button will open the order list and highlight the order in the order list.
It is also possible to search out names of resources – and thus quickly jump to a resource view containing the resource – or start editing master data for the resource.

In the middle of everything the Gantt chart allows manual drag/drop scheduling as well as fast and easy activation of the automatic scheduling rules including bottlenec scheduling.

The workload graph show the hourly, daily, weekly or monthly hours spend across all visible resources. Read more about the Workload graph
