It is possible to specify limits per material per warehouse for lower and upper stock inventory levels (safety stock levels). If the inventory for instance drops below the minimum inventory the figures will be red on the material graph.

Further more it’s possible to print a material report which lists the materials break the specified limits. The reports can be found in “File->Print html report” of the Desktop client and is called “Material inventory min/max (all)” and “Material inventory min/max (critical)”.

Creating main/max limits per warehouse

Alternative 1: From the master material window

  • Select the material and the right side slide-in panel click the Min/max stock levels sub-panel
  • Click the + button to add a new Min/max setting and select the warehouse the values should apply for
  • Fill out the desired values for respectively
    • Min. level – get red errors when stock is below minimum
    • Warning level min – get purple warnings when stock is below warning level for minimum
    • Max. level – get red errors when stock is above maximum level
    • Warning level max – get purple warnings when stock is above warning level for maximum

Alternative 2: From the warehouse window

  • Select the warehouse and the right side slide-in panel click the Min/max stock levels sub-panel
  • Click the + button to add a new Min/max setting and select the material the the values should apply for
  • Fill out the desired values for respectively: Min. level, Warning level min, Max. level and Warning level max (see description above)
