Master operation editing

Master operations created or edited here are used for building master routes. An operation in the ROB-EX Scheduler term, describes a process to perform (i.e. cut, grind, etc.) and the list of resources capable of performing the operation. The master operation is thus used for specifying the “capability matrix” of your resources (equipment and labor)

Quick start

• Create new master operation by clicking on the + button. Provide a unique name for the operation and specify the type of the operation (a normal operation or a sub-operation)
• To view or edit an existing master operation click on the link displaying the operation name
  • To change the name of an existing master operation unfold the General operation panel and edit the Name field. Also change any default values of the master operation in a similar way.
• To add a resource as an alternative drag and drop from the right side Resource list to the middle Resources attached to … panel
  • Note that in case all members of a resource group are alternatives, then it is enough to add the resource group as an alternative – it is not necessary to add each member resource one by one.
• To change the sequence of resources for an existing master operation, drag and drop within the middle Resources attached to … panel
