Starting up the desktop client

After completed installation either start Proficy Scheduler desktop client using

1. The shortcut created by the installation utility in the Proficy Scheduler program folder
2. If starting Proficy Scheduler on a client where Proficy Scheduler installer has not been run create a shortcut to <robex_install_dir>\bin\ROB-EX Gantt.exe.

!Warning for UNC path problem with Proficy Scheduler Shop Floor. If the intention is to run Proficy Scheduler as a Shop Floor server and the client install folder is on a network drive, then permanently map a named network drive (e.g. f:) to the network location and use the named drive on the shortcut. Do not use a UNC path to start a Proficy Scheduler client which will act as Shop Floor server.
