An ID is the unique identifier assigned to all objects in ROB-EX (resources, project, production order etc.). Settings here decides the next free id to use. It also decides the format used for ID’s.
The name of the counter to change settings for, e.g. select EProductionOrder to change settings for the counter deciding how ID’s are generated for Production Orders.
The next free ID to be used for select counter
Will reset the counter to 0. Use extreme care pressing this button, since resetting a counter may result in already existing objects being overwritten (same ID can potentially be reused).
A possible prefix to prepend to the counter. You can use a prefix (e.g. R) to distinguish ID’s generated by ROB-EX from those ID’s that are generated by you ERP system.
The Min. length settings decides if the generated ID will be pre-padded with zero characters. If specifying min. length=5 a counter with value 1 will be generated as “00001”
The Max. counter value decides when the counter will roll back to zero again. A setting of 0 means that the counter has no limit.
