Order name | View order name together with the orders The order name is viewed above the order in the Gantt window. The order name is shown as a text above each operation in the Gantt plan. The text can be edited using the function “View layout”. Please refer to chapter The Gantt chart”. The latest setting is saved when ROB-EX is closed. |
Milestone flags | View operations that exceeds milestones. In each operation bar deadline flags are shown warning that the operation with the current position exceeds the deadlines. Deadline flags appear when: M – The operation is planned to start before the materials are available L – The operation is planned to end after time of delivery to the customer The same function may be achieved using Milestone colors The function is also available in the Tool bar. |
Order constraints | View constraints lines on selected orders and operations. The constraints shows relations between all operations in an order, i.e. it is possible to view all operation steps of the selected production order. Valid constraints are shown with black lines. Red constraint indicates that the constraint is broken. I.e. the following operation is planned to start before the planned end of the preceding operation. Using the color mode “Broken constraints” operations having a broken constraint going into it is shown with red color. |
Overlap | A thin red line is shown above operations that are overlapping. Overlapping operations can be shown in details by using the function single resource view. |
Available time | Show or hide the shift calendar for each resource. The shift calendar is shown as available and unavailable time. Unavailable time is displayed as a grey shadow in the background of the Gantt chart. The shift calendar is shown behind/above the operations in the Gantt chart by selecting “Show behind” or “Show above” The resource calendar can be edited in resource calendar. |
Top time axis | Choose to show the calendar outline also the top of the Gantt chart. It is always visible at the buttom
Workload graph | View or hide the workload graph in the button of the Gantt window. Please refer to chapter The Gantt chart” for further description. This setting can be overwritten by settings on the individual resource views and from material views. |
New material graph | Add a material graph to the currently active material view. Once a material graph is added it must be configured to show a material. Right mouse click in the material graph area and select “Choose material”. Then click again in the material graph area and select what to be shown: Consumption, Purchase and shipment or Inventory. Please refer to chapter Optional modules – BOM for further description. The height of the graph area can be setup in the menu Functions->Settings->General->Materials. |
Show materials for selected operation | Show the BOM-lines for one or more selected operations. The BOM-lines appears as graphs towards the bottom. Select between the following pre-defined views:
The height of the graphs is selected using the function Functions->Settings->General->Materials. Additional settings may be changed in the sub-menu Settings. The options are:

Detail panel – Panel | With the function activated you will see a detail panel below the tool bar. Select an operation in the Gantt chart to view details for the different levels:
The detail panel is further described in chapter Detail panel. |
Project | View the orders in a project view. In the project view, select a project in the project list in the detail panel. In the project view the production orders are shown in the left side of the project list. Please refer to chapter Optional modules – Project for further information. Only with ROB-EX Scheduler Project module |
Coloring | View operations according to the selected function. Use Gantt chart coloring to highlight just the information you are looking for:
Each function is described in more detail on the following rows. The coloring functions are also available in the Tool Bar. |
Milestone colors | Shows if the milestones are respected. Operations are given colors according to if they respect delivery and materials date/times. Colors used:
This color modes works in the same way as the Milestone flags function. |
Operation status colors | Each operation has a color corresponding to the operation state. The following colors are used:
Status entered when all operations in the route has been reported as complete (or cancelled). Alternatively the status of the production order may be manually set to Completed, which will cause all operations, that is not already cancelled or completed, to be reported complete. Production orders with status Completed can be deleted from the order list window. The function is also available in the Tool bar. |
Order color | View the orders by different colors. The orders are automatically assigned different colors as they are created. The colors can be further edited in the window Edit order or from the Order list. The colors can be edited from the Gantt chart by activating the function “Order colors” and then right mouse clicking an operation in the order. In the menu select “Select color” |

The colors can be edited from the Gantt chart by activating the function “Route colors” and then right mouse clicking an operation in the order. In the menu select “Select color”. The function can be used to give orders using the same route the same color or nuances of the same color in order to identifying the routes in the gantt chart. |

Project color | View orders according to the project they are related to by. Project colors are assigned when a project is created. The color can be edited in the project list using the color column. Only with ROB-EX Scheduler Project module |
Account color | View operations colored by the assigned account. The account can be set on each operation or on the order for the operation or finally on a project. The painted color will be from the account on the lowest level. I.e. if operation has an account and the orders also has an account, the color will be selected from the account on the operation. Only with ROB-EX Scheduler Project module |

Progress colors | View the current progress (partial completions) on the operations. Colors used:
Progress is shown as a darker color on the operation. Please refer to chapter The main window – Edit operation for further details. |

Operation color | View operations having the same master operation, e.g. Drilling. The operation color is selected in the window “Edit operation”, which is described in the chapter Edit operations.
Series colors | show the operations belonging to the same series or groups. The Series colors are selected in the window “Edit series”, which is opened from the Edit menu or using the Edit button in the window Edit order. Please refer to chapter Optional modules – Series and groups for further details. Only available with ROB-EX Series and groups |

Default state on purchases: If the status on a purchase is unspecified the default state will be “Received”. This can be changed in GanttSetup.properties. purchase.default.status=Received Supported states: Received, Confirmed and UnConfirmed Material sum: If true we calculate inventory crossing all warehouses (material sum) – concerning consuming transactions. Default is false. This can be changed in GanttSetup.properties. ignore.Warehouse.On.Consuming.Material.Shortage.Colors=false
Only available with BOM license |
Producing material stock colors | Color producing operations to identify if enough is produced for future demands
Settings in GanttSetup.properties. The horizon to look for producing operations. Default is 30 days. So between now and 30 days ahead it will color producing operations colorView.ProducingMaterialStock.daysToColorForWardFromNow=30 How many days should it search forward from the producing operation to find consuming transactions. Specify -1 to ignore this setting. Default is 30 days. If -1 is specified the consuming transactions must be within the daysToColorForWardFromNow horizon. colorView.ProducingMaterialStock.daysToLookAheadFromProducing=30 If true the warehouse produced to / consumed from is ignored and it looks at material sum crossing all warehouses. Default is false. colorView.ProducingMaterialStock.isSum=false Only available with BOM license |
Shelf life | Will highlight producing and consuming operations where the shelf life is exceeded on the materials used. Producing operations will get yellow and consuming operations will get red. Note that shelf life is only supported for intermediates produced and linked using a pegging link or sub-order link. For furhter information about Shelf life refer to macro CheckShelfLife. |
Product family | If the order belongs to a campaign then color by the product family of the campaign. If no campaign then color by first product family on the BOM-list. Producing BOM-lines are favored ahead of a consuming lines. In case the operation itself has no BOM-lines, then a producing BOM-line on last operation is searched or as a last resort a consuming line on the first operation
Horizon | Select the horizon to be viewed in the Gantt chart. It is possible to view the permanent horizons: 24 hours, 10 days and 31 days. The functions are also available in the Tool bar.
