Macro in web-planner

Macros visible in ROB-EX Web Planner must be created and edited from ROB-EX Scheduler Integration Client. Also read more about creating macros in the section Macro
When macros are created in ROB-EX Scheduler Integration Client, they will be shown in the dropdown in the top panel in ROB-EX Web Planner. If the site does not contain any macros the dropdown will not be visible.

Click the arrow in the top part of the panel to show the dropdown list of available macros.

Use the search field to search for a named macro.

In order to exclude a macro from being available in the ROB-EX Web Planner, use “webplanner” as role in the roles excludes parameter of the macro. There is more information about macros in the section Macro

*From v7.4.2.2765: Whenever Web Planner/Viewer client calls a macro on the Integration Client, the currently selected operations in the resource Gantt chart are sent as parameters on the macro being called. It is currently default supported for the following macros – i.e. a WepPlanner user can trigger these macros on the Integration Client side for the currently selected operations:
SortAndSchedule, RunExternalProgram, Schedule

Through API programming it is also supported to get the list of selected operations, see the SelectionSupplier interface for an example.
